Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrical Technician to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical and electronic systems. In this role, you will handle repair, installation, and maintenance of electrical equipment, including transformers, control panels, motors, and more.

Compensation:

  • Base pay: $25-34/hour
  • Monthly Production Bonus
  • Total compensation: $46+/hour - $54+/hour (including bonuses)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrical Technician to join our team and ensure the safe and efficient operation of our electrical and electronic systems. In this role, you will handle repair, installation, and maintenance of electrical equipment, including transformers, control panels, motors, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and emergency electrical repairs, installations, and inspections.
  • Analyze and interpret wiring diagrams to modify, service, and repair equipment.
  • Fabricate parts using tools and machines to maintain electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Repair and adjust generators, relays, circuit breakers, control panels, and other systems.
  • Test, repair, and calibrate instruments, including electronic scales, spectrometers, and meters.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot A.C. and D.C. motors, transformers, and data recording instruments.
  • Assist with mechanical maintenance and repairs as needed.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • A.S. degree from an accredited college or trade school OR a minimum of 4 years of electrical experience.
  • Proficiency in reading wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
  • Experience with tools such as electrical/electronic gauges, calibrating/testing equipment, and hand tools.
  • Strong knowledge of mill equipment, including motors, transformers, and electronic controls.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical capability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs., as well as climb ladders and stairs.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with pre-employment screenings, including physical and agility tests, background checks, drug screens, and vision tests.
